The #2 Mistake Contractors Make

🚫 Insufficient Documentation of Insurance Estimates 🚫

The second mistake I see contractors make is not documenting their work adequately or, sometimes, not at all.

Documentation is crucial, starting with photos. The more you document with photos, the better your chances of your estimate being approved and paid.

A fully documented roof, for instance, may require up to 50 photos. Each photo can be worth thousands of dollars. It helps identify necessary repairs or items that need to be removed, serving as evidence for your claims.
