Cash Value

🚨 Contractors, Pay Attention! 🚨
If you see that an insurance policy keeps the depreciation and doesn’t offer replacement cost value (RCV), be cautious! Cheaper policies often settle with actual cash value (ACV) and never release depreciation. This means homeowners might have to pay out of pocket, making it a tough situation for both them and you.
💡 Pro Tip: Some contractors in our group only work with RCV policies to avoid these issues.
