There has been quite a few conversations that I’ve been a part of recently about the use of Xactimate and what is called lump sum pricing.

There’s a few variations of how contractors are submitting their estimates to the insurance company or directly to the homeowner. Some are using Xactimate and some are not. I address why I advocate using Xactimate in this video as well as the tactic I would suggest taking a look at if you’re going to use this method.
