Starting a New Project: Estimating 101
Ready to dive into the estimating process? Let’s get started!
Create a New Project: Click on “New Project” at the top of the screen. Don’t forget to rename it to something relevant!
Contractors, Listen Up: Always write your estimate in the carrier profile! This is crucial for accuracy.
No Need for Extras: After renaming, just hit “Create.” No need to fill out anything else on that screen.
Stay Focused: The estimate will open in a new window. Here’s a tip—only have ONE estimate window open at a time. Trust me, having multiple windows open can lead to unwanted changes on the wrong estimate. I’ve been there!
Dashboard Always Open: Keep your dashboard in a separate window to stay organized.
