Here I am in my element, navigating through estimates and Xactimate. Building estimates is second nature to me—I add line items just like any other estimate. For those familiar with my methods, I transform the original statement of loss from visibility into exactness. If you’re wondering what I mean, don’t worry; it’s not rocket science. It’s a matter of rebuilding the estimate, acknowledging adjusters’ insights, discussing what’s already paid.

I keep it straightforward—no rocket science here—no remove, replace fuss. Unlike Symbility, I opt for simplicity. The program does not, so I stick to R&R (just that little ampersand sign). Questions may arise about recreating the original statement of loss. Symbility breaks it out with remove, replace.
