The #2 Reason Adjusters are Rejecting Your Estimates

🔹 Adjusters may reject estimates due to internal policies within the insurance company, even  to the point where they  may be unable to submit your estimate due to those internal  policy limitations.

💡 Here’s what you, the restoration contractor can do about it:
✅ Seek legitimate alternatives within the job requirements.
✅ Avoid fluffing estimates and focus on reasonable line items.
✅ Be open to adjustments that help navigate policy restrictions.
✅ Prioritize getting paid while maintaining a fair and balanced approach.

Remember Don’t waste time waiting for adjusters to respond on every item. Prioritize getting the job moving and the money flowing. 🌟

Why Get Certified In Xactimate

Join Alena Wilson from Estimate Mastery LIVE Tuesday June 3rd at 4:30 CST/ 5:30 EST as she will be talking all about why you should get Certified in Xactimate. One of our FAQ’s here at Estimate Mastery is…do I need to be Certified to use Xactimate?
The answer is NO, for day to day estimating and getting around in the software, you don’t need any sort of certification to be able to write estimates in the software.
BUT, getting Certified is useful as leverage to getting line items paid.
We’ve had many, many contractors report back that when they added their Certification credentials to their email signature and few other key places like their company header, they were able to use the fact that they had been Certified to move their estimate “up the food chain” inside the insurance company and talk with someone who holds the same level of Cert. This is a Live you don’t want to miss!
